Pilot-Operated Regulators

The HD-Series Pilot-Operated Regulators are used on steam applications for pressure reduction or controlling product temperature (when steam is used in heating applications). The Pilot-operated regulators are more accurate and available in higher capacity than Direct-Operated regulators. The HD Series regulators use a pilot valve (several types and styles including Pressure, Temperature, ON-OFF solenoid, etc.) to control the operation of the Main Valve. The HD series has a Ductile Iron Body; Pilot and Main-Valve are selected separately.

A complete HD Series regulator consist of a main valve and an operating pilots(s). Each are selected separately.

Controlling Temperature & Limiting Pressure to a Maximum Value

The PT & PP Pilot combination is used when it’s required to control temperature while limiting downstream pressure to a maximum value. The downstream pressure is limited to a maximum setting by the pressure pilot, while the temperature pilot maintains the correct temperature of the process.

WATTS 4 inch lead free reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly prevents the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to back siphonage and or backpressure. It is ideal for protection in continuous pressure piping applications and at cross-connections identified as health hazards and from other contaminants found at the service line entrance.

This assembly consists of an epoxy coated cast iron body, outside stem and yoke resilient seated gate valves, captured spring check valves, replaceable seats, top mounted test cocks, and a field reversible pressure differential relief valve.

The coating on this backflow assembly uses ArmorTek technology to resist corrosion due to microbial induced corrosion (MIC) or exposed metal substrate.

This backflow assembly contains an integrated flood sensor with SentryPlus™ Alert technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. When activated through an add-on sensor connection kit, the flood sensor relays a signal that triggers notification of potential flooding to service personnel. The add-on sensor connection kit is available for building management systems and cellular communication.

DFT has solved the problem associated with short-lived check valves in boiler feed service applications. Featuring the DFT model WLC® BF, a severe duty wafer style check valve built for longevity, it outlasts other valves 2 to 3 times longer.

The WLC BF comes standard with WC9 body material, a one-piece ribbed body design, and welded disc and stem.

Additional severe-duty features include 410 trim, Colmonoy Coated Stem, and Carburized Bushings. Custom sizing is available for low-flow applications.

As with all DFT check valves, this silent check valve reduces the potential for reverse flow and water hammer and is designed for long life and low maintenance.
