About Yeager Supply

specializing in
industrial piping &
valve solutions

From a single box truck in 1967 to the Mid-Atlantic's leading industrial piping distributor, Yeager Supply was built on pure grit and determination. Today, our 340,000 square feet of warehousing and veteran staff deliver the expertise and inventory our customers deserve. For over 55 years, we've earned our reputation by providing no-nonsense service and solutions to the region's industrial, manufacturing, and construction professionals.

Our inventory spans over 100,000 products across every major category needed in industrial settings—from pipe and fittings to valves, pumps, tools, and specialized equipment. When standard inventory won't suffice, our in-house fabrication team and certified technicians handle custom requirements, including valve automation, pump repair, and precision pipe fabrication up to 16" OD.

At our service counter, you'll find more than just parts—you'll find people who know their stuff and actually care about getting you what you need. While we source from leading manufacturers worldwide, we prioritize American-made products and especially value our partnerships with local Pennsylvania and Mid-Atlantic manufacturers. From same-day service across Eastern PA, New Jersey, and Delaware to 24/7 emergency support, we've got you covered.

It all comes back to our founder Ed Yeager's simple but powerful motto that still guides everything we do today: "Take care of the customer." Not just a catchphrase—it's the principle that drives every decision we make.

where our
story begins

In 1967, at the age of 40, Ed Yeager took a leap that would change everything. After years in the wholesale industrial supply business, "Big Ed" and his wife Margaret started Yeager Supply Inc. with just one small pickup truck, their first employee Robert "Bobby" Hartman, and a team of seven.

From day one, Ed ran his business on simple principles: be honest, deliver quality, and take care of your customers. When Ed walked into a room in his trademark fedora hat and brown-tinted aviator glasses (which he proudly claimed were 40 years old), people noticed. Not because he was flashy, but because he knew his stuff and spoke straight. His wardrobe stuck to browns and tans "because then everything matches"—practical thinking from a practical man.

What started small grew steadily. One location became three. One truck multiplied to 18 on the road daily. Seven employees became over 100. Through it all, Ed—a Penn State graduate in industrial engineering and former Army corporal—stayed involved in daily operations, checking

in, solving problems, and keeping things moving forward.

The real magic of Yeager Supply wasn't just in the pipes, valves, and fittings. It was in how Ed treated people. He understood that in this business, your handshake matters as much as what you're selling. For over 70 years in the industry, Ed showed that taking care of customers wasn't some corporate strategy—it was just the right way to do business. It's how we still do things at Yeager Supply today.

get to know
our people

Behind every order, delivery, and solution is a real person with real expertise. These are the folks who make it happen every day at Yeager Supply - from the warehouse team who knows exactly where that specialized fitting is stored, to the counter staff who greet you by name, to the drivers who navigate tight delivery windows in all kinds of weather. Some have been here for decades, others are just beginning their journey, but they all share one thing—a commitment to getting you what you need, when you need it.

a step back
in time

Within the walls of our main warehouse, American industrial history lives on. Built as a vital hub for the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad—one of the nation's first railways chartered in 1833—these structures once hummed with the commerce that built this country. The P&R made history as America's first double track main line, connecting Philadelphia to the coal regions through Reading and Pottsville.

Nearly two centuries later, as you walk through our doors, you're stepping into spaces where railroad workers once loaded coal cars and repaired steam engines. These photos capture not just Yeager Supply’s history, but a living piece of Pennsylvania's industrial heritage that we're proud to continue.
